Outlook Client Setup |
From the Outlook menu bar, select Tools, E-mail Accounts.

Select "Add a new email account" and click Next.

Chose 'POP3", Next.

Enter your name under User Information.
Enter your full email address under the name, and also as your User Name in the Logon Information area.
Enter your password in the Password box. (Remember that passwords are case-sensitive.)
For Server Information , your Incoming is fspop.vccs.edu, and your Outgoing is fssmtp.vccs.edu.
Now click on the "More Settings" button.

Go to the "Advanced" tab. (You do not need to change the port numbers.)
If you plan to use only your Outlook client and not Mirapoint Webmail, you do not need to change anything on this tab at all, and may proceed to "OK".

Some users like to use Outlook at work and Mirapoint Webmail at home, or they wish to set up separate Outlook clients at more than one location, such as one in the office and one at home.
If you plan to do either of these, and would like to keep your incoming messages available via web or alternate client access for a period of time after they are downloaded to your Outlook client, you need to check "Leave a copy of messages on the server".
You also need to specify a number of days to retain the messages. We suggest that you select "Remove from server after" and specify 3 days. (Note that leaving messages on the server will cause your mailbox to fill up sooner if you have a lot of mail traffic or numerous large attachments coming to your account.)
Select OK.

The completion notice will appear. Select Finish to exit the wizard.
