Sharing your calendar

 

Exchange gives you the ability (with various permission levels) to share your calendar and access calendars that have been shared to you with

To share your calendar, in Outlook Select File>Folder>Sharing and you will be at the below screen. Click on Add to find the users you want to allow access to your calendar and select the appropriate permissions for each person.

While the permission level descriptions may be difficult to interpret, they do nothing more than select the appropriate boxes below it so it becomes readily apparent what function each role has.

Then click on OK. 

 To view a calendar that has been shared to you open calendars in your Outlook

Select “Open a Shared Calendar”. 

Enter users name of calendar that you have access permissions for.
