SIS v8 Process Queing

VCCS ITS has been seeing several SIS v8 processes being “queued” up but never executing.  When researching the cause, we found that may of the processes were submitted without specifying a server name (“PSNT” for Crystal reports or “PSUNX” for COBOL and SQR Reports).  Since no server was specified, these processes go into a queue and will never execute.

To determine if your process falls into this category, navigate to Process Monitor (Home > People Tools > Process Monitor > Inquire > Process Requests).  Select “Details” for the queued process. If there is no value for the Server name, then that’s the reason the process is staying in the queue. (See Attachment)

You need to cancel the process and resubmit.
