PeopleSoft On-Site Training: Enrollments
SIS Deployment Chairs,
This is an urgent follow up to our earlier communications regarding on-site PeopleSoft training. We apologize for the last-minute confirmation of classes for next week, but have been working with a severely depleted PeopleSoft training corps; over 1/2 of PeopleSoft's instructors were let go during the Oracle transition. That said, our PeopleSoft contacts have been working with us diligently to make our training happen, and we are pleased to announce that most of our dates have been confirmed.
Based upon college requests, we will host a minimum of three sessions for each class, spread throughout the months of February and March. Please use the following procedure for class enrollment:
|
For the PeopleTools I/II
Accelerated course next week, Client Services is calling today
to confirm requested slots. Please do not plan to attend unless
you receive a confirmation phone call today. Building / room
number / time details will be sent to attendees this afternoon.
| |
|
To request enrollment in future
sessions (classes starting on February 7th or later), please use
the attached enrollment form. Submission of this form
constitutes college confirmation of attendance, and
responsibility for costs associated with late cancellations or
enrollment of students above the allotted one-per-course covered
by ITS.

|
The enrollment form must be
returned to Imad Abi-Falah (iabi-falah@vccs.edu)
no later than COB, Tuesday, February 1.

When reviewing the schedule, please note that we will be offering a third section of each class in March. Several colleges requested delayed training so as to not interfere with local v8 activities, and so we are adding those sections. We do not have final dates confirmed for March classes, but if you prefer those slots, please enroll in those and not the February classes.
Also, please note that PeopleTools I/II and PeopleCode/SQR are fast-paced, technical courses, designed for developers. Please select attendees accordingly.
If you have any questions, please contact Jeff Mitchell (804-423-6745, jmitchell@vccs.edu ) at your earliest convenience.
