This message is being sent to the CSLs, College Deployment Chairs and also being posted on the VCCS Discuss list in the Student Information System Areas.  I apologize in advance for the receipt of multiple copies, but I want to make sure that the message gets to any and all affected parties.

In preparation for the upgrade from PeopleSoft 7.6 to PeopleSoft 8, I have been asked to prepare a “set” of scenarios to be used as a template for the users to test the functionality of the PeopleSoft 8 product at their respective colleges.  I would like for each college to provide me with copies of the testing plans, scenarios, etc., from each functional area (Academic Advising/Campus Community, Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Financials, Student Records) used when you were testing the 7.6 version of the VCCS SIS.  From these documents, I will compile a set of testing scenarios that can be used as a guide for testing the upgraded database.  With input from all functional areas, and from all colleges, a comprehensive testing plan can be formulated, making the transition as smooth as possible.

Please attach the documentation to an email and send to rgillette@vccs.edu by October 8, 2004.  Of course, the sooner I get the information, the sooner I can get started on the Testing Scenario Plan.
